Ministry Position: WTRC Program Coordinator, Football Program Coordinator, and Softball Coordinator
You will create, plan, and organize curriculum for camps, retreats, or events, such as scheduling daily events on and off the field for event participants. You will do ministry outreach or teach Biblical and leadership principles. This may include recruiting individuals to act as counselors on a retreat team who will help in leading events.

You will also schedule facilities needed for your sport or event. You will bring teams in to compete in single games, contests, and events. You will promote teams to compete in tournaments that will take place on our state-of-the-art turfed fields. This position requires promoting and marketing skills and strategies regularly seeking to expose the gospel through the sport.

You will work closely with the AIA Event Coordinator/Director of Marketing to promote and market AIA’s athletic facilities and the use of retreat center capabilities - including conference rooms, housing facilities, and the ropes course.

You will prepare and maintain fields on a regular basis, especially before, during, and after a game or retreat. You will also be expected to manage/maintain equipment needed for a sport or event.

Ministry Position: WTRC Chaplain
The influx of outside groups visiting our WTRC campus is increasing and will continue to do so over the coming months. These groups duration on campus is anything from a half day to a month or more. We have had numerous requests to come alongside the visitors to minister, either a one-time bible/character talk, or something more ongoing and in depth. At this time, we do not have staff assigned to concern themselves with such requests, leaving event planners scrambling and many of the requests unfulfilled. We need a team of staff who will satisfy these requests with ministry and interpersonal excellence.

Position Description:

  • Staff will work closely with Scheduling Staff to anticipate and know visitors requests/needs for ministry input; they might also work closely with the Ministry Training Center
  • Staff will fill requests with themselves, their team, or will pursue other WTRC or outside ministers who are better equipped to satisfy the request
  • Staff will need to create/shape the position and continue recruiting a staff team
  • Staff should be grounded in basic evangelism and discipleship principles
  • Staff need to think creatively about how to fill various requests. Some groups will need a single talk, some will need a small group facilitator, some will need an in depth bible teacher, some will need things we’ve not thought of before in our ministries on campus or with teams. Some groups will be comprised of largely non-Christians, some baby, some more mature. Intellectual flexibility and some previous ministry experience is a must
  • Staff should be familiar with the various ministries of AIA and be able to vision cast for where the organization is going. Being a spokesperson may be a huge role
  • Staff should be responsible; timeliness and delivery of requested “product” a must
