Ministry Position: Sport Ethics Center Project Administrator
Designed to address theological and practical issues in the “sports world” culture is AIA’s new ministry, the Sports Ethics Center. Specifically, the following determine the strategy of the Center: Research the issues for writing, publishing, and teaching. Market/communicate the Center at key events and to a number of Sport Associations (via brochures, displays, internet, magazine ads, journal articles, etc.). Educate/resource Staff and the target audience by producing educational media, as well as train leaders to effectively address the social, ethical, and religious issues from a Christian worldview. You will organize and lead specific projects such as curriculum development and pilot classes with local colleges and universities. You will also formulate strategies and administer existing and new initiatives in conjunction with the Marketing and Educational Resource team, which will also include budget oversight. You will work closely with the Director of the Sport Ethics Center and with other team members. Some travel will be required.
